Rendering is local: your code, your files and your videos are sent to nobody. No account to create, no server to trust, nothing to upload. Kompile drives the Chrome you already have and writes an MP4 next to your files.
Two outbound connections exist, and neither carries your work: the update check, and the resources your own page fetches (a font, a library), exactly as in a browser.
It is also what makes the app usable offline: the subscription key is verified without a network, so it works on a train.
